The Social Sciences Academic Press, belonging to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, plans to translate and publish 30 influential international left-wing books in the humanities and social sciences field into Chinese. The topics of the monographs, except proceedings, could cover the entire humanities and social science field. The monographs should be published after the year 2000 in English, Russian, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Korean only. The compilation committee, headed by Professor Cheng Enfu in the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is responsible for the selection. Applicants and referees please write a synopsis of the book with at least 2,000 words about its innovative points and main academic values, and a 300-word-introduction to the authors of the book. We prefer the books which have not been published in Chinese before. All the active participations and recommendations from international scholars and publishing houses are cordially welcome!
