Roger Annis: Class and Nation in Ukraine

On September 25, 2015, Roger Annis spoke on the subject of the civil war in Ukraine at a session of the inaugural conference of the Geopolitical Economy Research Group at the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg, Canada. His talk was titled ‘Class and Nation in Ukraine’.

Roger Annis is an independent researcher and co-founder of the website ‘The New Cold War: Ukraine and Beyond’. The website provides factual information and political analysis of the political conflict in Ukraine and its rapidly-widening consequences internationally.

Roger Annis is a longtime socialist, trade union activist and retired aerospace worker living in Vancouver, Canada. He writes regularly on topics of social justice, ecology, and opposition to war and militarism.
